Using a Response to Intervention (RtI) model, the Danville School will ensure that each student is engaged in a challenging, success oriented, 21st Century education that fosters individual achievement regardless of age or ability.
We strive to provide a learning environment that is …
· Student-centered, aesthetically inviting, and structured to prioritize learning.
· Community oriented and provides for the intellectual, social/emotional and cultural growth of each student and staff member.
· Based on positive teacher (school)/student (and parent) relationships in order to understand and address the specific needs of each student.
· Comprised of a variety of systemic structures that enhance best practice in curriculum, instruction and assessment.
· Collaborative, data driven and allows us to utilize general education and special education resources simultaneously in order to tailor instruction and/or implement a continuum of interventions toward student achievement.
